- How old are those pipelines? Why not double contain it (pipe inside of pipe)? The answer is not to let it be shipped to China, from a Canadian port. Should we keep buying from the middle east, and financing terrorist?

- Protecting our children's future is a must. And sending this oil (one of the most valuable resources on this planet), to China, to be processed is a huge mistake. This pipeline would not hurt us in any way. It would make us less dependant on foreign oil.

- The biggest impact this pipeline would have on the environment, would be the path that gets trampled when building it. It's low pressure, and the chances of a major leak are slim to none. You can gladly run it through my backyard. Just give me a small, 1" tap off of it.....

- Here is a concept. Let someone, who is doing an EASY job, get the pay that they deserve. Maybe if the salaries went down, the price of goods would go down........ There's a concept! UNIONS aren't needed any longer! the owner of a company deserves to make whatever profit he/she can.

- I can about gaurentee that the executives didn't cause the OSHA fines. Some idiot not doing his job correctly, while making too much, is the cause. The union should pay those fines. They are the ones with supervisors that didn't keep people in check.

- Exactly right Matt. The Union will suck and suck, until it's empty. Because the guys leading the union, deserve fat checks for doing nothing but bitch about how their guys on the line, and their $25 an hour pay, deserve more and more and more.

- Slave wages. That's funny. Bet the average wage there is $25 an hour because of unions. Tough to make a profit on a $2 item when 100 people at $25+ an hour pay, had to touch it, per union rules.
